बिहार बोर्ड ने इंटर नामांकन के लिए पहली चयन सूची जारी कर दी है। 4 से 10 जून तक नामांकन होगा। दूसरी सूची 19 जून को जारी होगी। कुल 12 लाख 80 हजार आवेदन नामंकन के लिए आएं हैं। छात्रों को बोर्ड ने ईमेल भेज कर कॉलेज आवंटन की जानकारी दी है। इस बार इंटर 889 कॉलेज और स्कूल में 81 हजार 300 सीटे बढ़ाई गई है।

इस बार राज्यभर के 32 सौ स्कूल और कॉलेजों को मिलाकर कुल 15 लाख 65 हजार 812 सीटों पर नामांकन हुआ है। राज्य के इंटर स्कूलों में इसबार 685949 सीटें आर्ट्स संकाय में, 647194 सीटें साइंस संकाय में, 231149 सीटें कॉमर्स संकाय में हैं तथा कृषि में राज्यभर में 1520 सीटें हैं।  बिहार बोर्ड ने जिन संस्थानों की सूची वेबसाइट पर अपलोड की है, उनमें 484 संस्थान सिर्फ छात्राओं को शिक्षा देते हैं, जबकि 50 से अधिक छात्रों के लिए हैं। बाकी संस्थानों में को-एजुकेशन की व्यवस्था है। यहां छात्र-छात्राएं दोनों एक साथ पढ़ते हैं। छात्राओं के लिए संस्थानों में 99264 सीटें आर्ट्स, 91832 सीटें साइंस तथा कॉमर्स में 16908 सीटें हैं।
